Fred Mclean
Fred Mclean hailed from Lakeview Corner, New Brunswick. Before joining the Millionaires Fred was a star player with the Fredericton Capitols in the New Brunswick Amateur hockey league. According to reports he was very fast on his stakes, a superb stick handler and had a wicked shot Sydney was able to win the bidding for Fred Mclean's services beating out most of the other maritime professional teams but unfortunately the league folded early in the season. Fred went on to play two short stints in the NHL with the Quebec Bulldogs and the Hamilton Tigers. After his retirement from hockey he coached hockey at Mount Allison University and the University of New Brunswick. Fred Mclean's Bio at the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame
